The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, general maintenance, repairs, managing work schedules on our fleet of vans and staff. You will also be expected to be hands on as well performing managerial duties. We expect candidates to be organised and punctual, ensuring that the vans are serviced and fixed in a timely manner. Making sure staff are also keeping to the timescale we require when working.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Carrying out routine servicing & vehicle health checks to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and fault finding
• Undertaking various repairs, from minor maintenance to in depth work
• Managing the staff and organisation of the day to day running of the garage

We are looking for a self motivated, smart, hard working and reliable person, who can work well independently, to serve our customers and drive our ice cream vans.

• Must have excellent customer service skills to join our team.

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance person, ideally with a varied experience in general Maintenance, improvements to industrial warehouses, houses, and commercial cafes.

• A hands-on individual who can develop and implement systems/procedures as well as maintain current ones.
• Able to contribute to projects and maintenance schedules, practical, with good DIY skills

Responsible for:

• Carrying out repair, maintenance, improvements and general duties as requested by the Property Services Manager.
• Identifying and initiating repair work to ensure preventative maintenance and reporting on action taken,
• Recording tasks carried out in accordance with record systems giving reference to cost.
• Using, maintaining and storing tools and equipment in an appropriate condition and in accordance with any training and instruction given.
• To be successful in this role you will need to possess excellent maintenance skills, be able to work independently and have a ‘can do’ attitude to your work and be able to work well with other members of our team. This position would suit a multi-skilled person with excellent communication skills.
• Skilled at DIY & general maintenance for example; building work and plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating and electrical works,
• Travel to other sites locally within 20-mile radius & on occasions be on call to carry out emergency repairs outside of normal working hours
• Keep an inventory and monthly audit of all maintenance tool and equipment.
• Communicate with fellow work colleges with a professional manner

We are looking to recruit a shift supervisor (this could be split between two people or taken on by one person) to work 8am-12pm and 5pm-11pm these times may vary depending on the day and the workload.

Duties will include but not limited to

• Opening up the factory in the mornings.
• Supervising and organising the van drivers,Making sure they come in and have their vans ready adequately and promptly leave for the day. 
• Ensuring the Staff have correctly recorded any stock taken and have correctly done all morning checks required.
• Ensuring when they come back in the evening, that all restocking and cleaning is done as required by our schedules and company policies.
• Ensuring all vans are parked up properly
• Reporting problems to the appropriate persons.
• Doing some stock checks in the warehouse and freezers when required 
• Making sure the factory warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times. 
• Morning and Evening shifts required weekdays and weekends
